Actress/Singer Rihanna showed off her co-designed, high-slit, white dress at the premiere of Universal Pictures' "Battleship" at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on May 10. “I’ve gotta hold on to my outfit a little tighter than usual,” said Rihanna to Access Hollywood. 

Be on the lookout as Rihanna makes her acting debut in the film which is set to hit theaters on May 18th.

On May 10 at Skylight SoHo in New York City, several songwriters and publishers were honored at the 2012 SESAC Pop Music Awards. 

The awards recognized the most popular songs of 2011 as well as presented special awards to the Songwriter of the Year, Song of the Year and Publisher of the Year. Over 40 awards were received in the categories of Pop, R&B/Hip-Hop, and Rock. 

In attendance were Rico Love, Usher, Terrence J, Melanie Fiona, Bryan-Michael Cox, Traci Hale, Greg Curtis and many more.
