Indie Spotlight: RIO 07/26/2010
 Rio is the founding member of DollaBillz Music Group, a collective of artists, producers, and songwriters started in his hometown of Detroit,MI. At the age of 18 he made the bold decision to chase his dream and move to Atlanta, GA, far away from anything or anyone he's ever known. He attended Atlanta Metro for a semester before being overwhelmed by out of state tuition and doubts of the benefits higher education had to offer. Picking up two jobs and teaching him self guitar and piano, Rio became more determined than ever to change the world, one song at a time. He befriended another young star, D'Melody, and they crafted what would be his debut single 'Satellite" along with his partner, Detroit recording artist Benjamin Malcolm. His "Concept 21" EP released May 5th,2010. His perspective of both sides of the track brings a new reality to music. He's truly one of the shining stars in hip-hops new generation.
